…. This year has been a challenging year for everyone. Being limited to the number of activities and events we can do, we really start questioning ourselves about what life really is. This book brings good life perspectives that are important to share. In this article, we are going to talk about the biggest lessons from Harvard professor Clayton M. Christensen.

…best known for his book “The Innovator’s Dilemma” and “How Will You Measure Your Life”, Clayton shares with us his experience about life and what really matters.

The book starts by breaking the ice, mentioning how he had several alumni reunions after several years and saw how people downgraded overt time. Several had divorces, committed frauds, and were unhappy with their lives. The alarming thing is that it got worst over time, every year people seemed more unfulfilled.

….trying to solve this problem, Clayton decides to answer the question How You Will Measure Your Life?

To start he mentions being careful when comparing and looking at other people’s lives, that “People often think that the best way to predict the future is by collecting as much information as possible before making a decision. But this is like driving a car looking only at the rearview mirror. ….data is only available about the past”. That life is unpredictable and by so, we need to have some principles to guide us (more of that later).
